My short pilgrimage

 Today is a very important feast for the christians. We celebrate the triumphal entry in Jerusalem of our Lord Jesus Christ.
 Yesterday,we invaded the streets of the city in a short pilgrimage...almost 5000 christians participated at this ceremony ,everybody having willow branches (here we don't have palm tree) and singing for Christ.You can see what i recorded here:

  With one week before His resurrection,He entered in Jerusalem on a donkey-the donkey is the symbol of peace ,versus the horse,which is an animal of war. A king would use a horse,but Jesus ,the king of the kings used a donkey because He was the king of peace.
 This thing has been prophecied by the prophets of the Old Testament. It's incredible how they knew before that "the king that had to come" will come on a donkey.

"Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass." (Zechariah 9:9)
اِبْتَهِجِي جِدًّا يَا ابْنَةَ صِهْيَوْنَ، اهْتِفِي يَا بِنْتَ أُورُشَلِيمَ. هُوَذَا مَلِكُكِ يَأْتِي إِلَيْكِ. هُوَ عَادِلٌ وَمَنْصُورٌ وَدِيعٌ، وَرَاكِبٌ عَلَى حِمَارٍ وَعَلَى جَحْشٍ ابْنِ أَتَانٍ.

  In the old jewish tradition, it was a custom to cover the paths of someone worthy of the highest honour.So the crowds greeted him by waving palm branches and covering His path with palm branches.
 Everybody was so enthusiastic by His coming so that the rulers of the city told Him to silent His followers,but He answered "If they will silent,the stones will cry out".
 Even though Jesus was happy for Israel's joy,in His heart He knew their heart is still closed and they praise Him just like an earthy king and not as a true Messiah,so He made a prophecy about it's future destruction:

 " Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.
For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side,
And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation."(luke 19:42-44)
قَائِلاً:«إِنَّكِ لَوْ عَلِمْتِ أَنْتِ أَيْضًا، حَتَّى فِي يَوْمِكِ هذَا، مَا هُوَ لِسَلاَمِكِ! وَلكِنِ الآنَ قَدْ أُخْفِيَ عَنْ عَيْنَيْكِ.
فَإِنَّهُ سَتَأْتِي أَيَّامٌ وَيُحِيطُ بِكِ أَعْدَاؤُكِ بِمِتْرَسَةٍ، وَيُحْدِقُونَ بِكِ وَيُحَاصِرُونَكِ مِنْ كُلِّ جِهَةٍ،

وَيَهْدِمُونَكِ وَبَنِيكِ فِيكِ، وَلاَ يَتْرُكُونَ فِيكِ حَجَرًا عَلَى حَجَرٍ، لأَنَّكِ لَمْ تَعْرِفِي زَمَانَ افْتِقَادِكِ».

 In my country,people with names of flower celebrate their name day,my mum has flower name too so today i have partyyy( a sort of..for me party can mean when i eat special food :D)...people who are fasting can eat fish and drink wine today so i just wait to get my teeth in that meat because i'm really not a good friend with vegetables.
 Starting from today,we begin the Passions of Christ-the last week before His Ressurection,it's a week of mourning because our Lord had suffer for us ,but Sunday is the day of joy,even the angels are celebrating in heaven,everybody stops fasting,Jesus wants us happy so we will celebrate His victory against death and we will re-born again.
