After visiting Nanette Lepore's studio last month, where I had a cheeky sneak peek of the collection-in-progress, it was such a treat to see it all come down the runway in its finished form.
Mystics-meets-Oscar Wilde (think: the chicest seance ever) provided the inspiration (I'll let Nanette tell you more herself in our interview...stay tuned), which amounted to a collection wrought with warm tones, bursts of jewel and gold, brilliant tarot inspired prints and plenty of gypsy prints.
Tweed jackets and short were worn with foulard print tops and flame wool coats were paired over sumptuous print dresses. The future a la Nanette certainly looks mulberry and flounce to me.
